Travis is originally from Kerrville, in the Texas hill country. He graduated from Texas Tech University in December of 2002 with degrees in Management Information Systems and Management. He is now the Director of Information Technology at the City of Kerrville.

Kat was born and raised in Midland, Tx. She graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2003 with her bachelors in Management Information Systems. She continued on to graduate school to obtain her Masters of Science in Business Administration, but left when she was recruited by IBM in 2004. She went back to continue her degree program on the weekends while still working for IBM. She graduated in May 2008.

Kat and Travis were married in January 2004 in Midland. They began married life in Lubbock, but soon moved to Smyrna, TN when Kat took her position with IBM. They moved back to Texas in January 2006 and settled in Boerne while Travis tried his hand at his dad’s real estate company. Unable to give up his technical side, he joined the City of Kerrville in October 2006 and has worked his way up to Director of IT. They moved to Kerrville in December 2006 with their 3 dogs. Kat and Travis celebrated the birth of their first child, Alexis Amy on November 26th, 2008.

Kat is the sole proprietor of Cochrane Tech Solutions, and also works full time as the Media & Graphic Coordinator at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville.  Kat and Travis welcomed their second child, Noah Travis on April 12th, 2010.
